Apex Cellular Experts is operated by retired FBI Special Agent, William "Bill" Shute, the first ever FBI expert witness in the field of Historical Cell Site Analysis and Geo-Location. Having first testified in 2005, coining the phrase, "historical cell site analysis," Agent Shute became the father of Cell Site Analysis and was the creator and co-founder of the FBI's prestigious Cellular Analysis Survey Team (CAST). Having testified in over 400 criminal trials  Agent Shute became a pioneer in the field and helped create many of the courses in the CAST training curriculum, most notably the Basic Course and ultimately CAST Certification which trains and certifies FBI CAST experts. Working privately, Shute works as a contractor for multiple law enforcement entities and also takes on cases for private attorneys. Shute and his associates specialize in the analysis of cellular telephone records, device geo-location, expert witness testimony, as well as training of individuals looking to advance their cell site analysis skills.
